Blue Rhino has been in the waste disposal and recycling equipment industry since 1995. Prior to starting Blue Rhino, our founder played a key role in building the nations largest Compactor rental company, placing in excess of 3,000 units in 5 years. In the late 90’s Blue Rhino was one of the industry’s largest sales and service companies in the Southwest. In 2001 we downsized back to just family and friends and got out of the service business. For many years we had our equipment manufactured for us. In 2008 many of our suppliers went out of business, or began re-prioritizing their product lines. After failing to find satisfactory new suppliers for certain products, we decided to go back to manufacturing some of our own equipment. We currently manufacture our line of Auger Compactors, as well as Carts and Cart Dumpers as part of our systems. While we have remained a small family business, and primarily sell factory-direct, our client list includes some of the worlds largest companies and government agencies.

Charities and organizations we support
Ronald McDonald House provides low-cost, temporary housing for families whose children require medical treatment at facilities far from their home. This home-away-from-home eases their financial burden, compared to hotels, and offers a welcoming atmosphere. Every night, a group of volunteers will cook dinner for those staying in the House. We participate in this service at least once per month, as well as sponsor their annual gala.
The Singletons is a fantastic organization that supports single parents who are fighting cancer. The Singletons helps these families by providing meals, bare necessities not covered by government assistance, as well as paying bills when possible. They also host fun events and parties for the families, that let kids be kids. These services lift some of the burden and stress of not only being a single parent, but also fighting cancer.
UMOM works to end homelessness by assisting families, children and single women with housing, meals, healthcare, childcare, job training and job placement
